The challenge

When Care ADHD needed to launch Cresco – their new children's ADHD assessment service – they faced a super tight timeline. With testing deadlines looming, the project required sophisticated healthcare design without lengthy discovery phases.

Plus, healthcare design demands particular sensitivity, balancing professional credibility with approachable warmth for vulnerable young people and stressed caregivers.

The solution

Speed became our strategic advantage rather than a compromise. Drawing on established trust from previous collaborations, we moved into rapid iteration cycles that compressed traditional timelines without sacrificing quality. The foundation began with wireframing clear user journeys – mapping how anxious parents would navigate from initial exploration through booking onto the trial, ensuring every touchpoint felt reassuring rather than clinical.

We chose Cabinet Grotesk and Buenos Aires as the typographic foundation – fonts that feel contemporary yet reliable for building healthcare confidence. The colour evolution proved particularly strategic, brightening and expanding the existing palette with softer tones that feel approachable whilst maintaining clinical authority. This wasn't aesthetic refinement; it was psychological positioning informed by our own family's journey through ADHD assessment processes.

Most importantly, we designed with testing in mind, building a simple journey that could be built quickly, be capable of absorbing feedback and iterating quickly based on real user insights.

The outcome

Cresco launched on schedule with a digital experience that immediately elevated Care ADHD's service offering.

The refined visual identity strikes that delicate healthcare balance – professional enough for clinical credibility, warm enough for family comfort.

Perhaps most significantly, the rapid design approach proved that thoughtful healthcare design doesn't require endless discovery phases when you have the right collaborative foundations, demonstrating how strategic partnerships can accelerate innovation where getting to market quickly means reaching families who desperately need support.
